Martha, Paula and Tom agree to leave behind their good old-fashioned reality to experience the world of virtual reality (VR) for the first time. By donning a VR headset, each resident views and interacts with a three-dimensional, computer-generated environment. Scenes and objects appear real, down to the sinking feeling Martha gets in her stomach while “riding” a rollercoaster.
